Gotta hand it to those wacky Japanese for throwing American pop culture references into a blender, setting it on puree, and pouring out inscrutable, random, infantilism/media worship that has nothing whatsoever to do with the sum of its parts. The soundtrack is pretty catchy in a baby-music, Hello Kitty! kind of way, like most J-kitsch.
